Welcome to the BTSS official website
The British Turkish Shooting Society was launched in 2023 by like-minded individuals from the Turkish speaking community. The purpose of the society is to bring the community together for a common purpose, please see our aims and objectives below.
For many years shooting has been a popular sport within the Turkish speaking community, whether trap shooting or traditional game shooting. We want to ensure this continues for the younger British Turkish generation.
Our website will provide you with all the information you need to get involved within our society, as well as other key information relating to our activities.

Who can be a member of the BTSS?
The BTSS is open to all the British Turkish speaking community in the UK. There is no requirement to have any shotgun/firearms certificate or license, but an expectation that members will obtain one within 6 months from the date of joining.
Membership to the BTSS is completely free, some events or charity shoots will have a small fee that will cover the costs of the event, and leave money to be donated to the designated charity for that event.
Members must be over the age of 18, and be of good character. The Executive Board hold rights to refuse any application without notification or reason.

The BTSS has experienced and seasoned shooters within its membership, we are pleased to be able to offer private tuition, covering gun safety, ammunition, legislation, and live shooting in locations across the UK.
